CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – A portion of I-74 westbound was closed this morning while the Illinois State Police (ISP) responded to a property damage crash.
Just after 8 a.m., ISP troopers responded to the scene of the crash near milepost 178, not far from the I-57 junction. They found a dump truck that hit the Duncan Rd. overpass, causing the dump bed to fall off into the right lane.
The right lane was blocked, and traffic was diverted to the left lane. Both lanes have been reopened and no injuries were reported.
