URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – The Vineyard Church in Urbana is almost done with “Socktober,” a month-long event that focused on collecting new and unused socks for homeless shelters and the CU Schools Foundation.
Organizers have collected around 5,200 pairs so far. Last year, the church collected 13,000 pairs. this year, they’ve increased their goal to 15,000. Through the end of the month, find a drop-off box and a link to their Amazon here.
