CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Illinois State Police (ISP) reported a rollover crash with injuries Monday night on I-74 eastbound, causing a traffic detour that is still affecting the morning commute. Just before 11:30 p.m., ISP responded to the accident near milepost 178, with a rollover commercial vehicle. Eastbound lanes were shut down and traffic was detoured from I-74 eastbound onto I-57 southbound.
ISP estimated I-74 eastbound to would be 8:30 to 9 a.m., but back-ups remain in the area. Traffic continues to be heavy in Route 150 as a result.
