I-74 ramp and lane closures in Urbana Monday and Tuesday

According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, the ramp to westbound I-74, as well as one lane of westbound I-74 at the University Avenue interchange (exit 185) in Urbana will be closed Monday and Tuesday nights.

URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, the ramp to westbound I-74, as well as one lane of westbound I-74 at the University Avenue interchange (exit 185) in Urbana will be closed Monday and Tuesday nights.

The closures are necessary to complete repairs to the bridge that carries the on- and off-ramps to I-74 from University Ave. and are expected to last two nights. Work will occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Be cautious throughout the area and give yourself extra time to travel through the construction zone.
