CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Callie Luttman of 97.9 The Vibe, alongside Jill Kief and Gary Saladino from the Illini Media Group promotional team, brought holiday cheer to Champaign today by distributing 75 Walmart gift cards for turkey purchases. The giveaway was part of the national Steve Harvey Morning Show Annual Turkey Give.
The event took place at the Martens Center, located at 1515 N. Market Street, starting at 10 a.m. Cars lined up early, with Champaign police managing traffic to ensure a smooth process. Adding to the festive atmosphere, VP and General Manager Jamie Ulrey donned a giant turkey costume, making it clear attendees were in the right spot.
