Aggravated battery with a firearm in Danville

DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) – On Saturday, November 30, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Danville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of N. Bowman Ave. Upon arrival, officers found a 51-year-old Danville woman who had been shot while walking through a parking lot.

The woman was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and is currently in stable condition. The Danville Police Department is investigating the incident and following up on leads, with assistance from community witnesses.
