CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals wanted for questioning regarding the use of counterfeit U.S. currency at the Schnucks supermarket in Savoy on Friday, April 24.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the report of counterfeit money being passed at the store, sparking an ongoing investigation. The department is now looking to identify and speak with two individuals who may have information crucial to the case.
