Church Street to temporarily close at railroad crossing in Savoy

SAVOY, IL (Chambana Today) — A full closure of east Church Street at the railroad crossing is expected to begin on Monday, May 4, and last 4-5 days.

Canadian National Railroad (CN) informed the Village of Savoy that they intend to complete significant repair work on their at-grade railroad crossing that requires full closure of the roadway at the crossing. Alternative access to east Church Street is available via south First Street.

This work is under the control of CN. If the railroad provides additional information, the Village of Savoy will provide updates.
