The Champaign Police Department (CPD) responded to a shooting with injuries at 5:13 a.m. on August 24 in the 1400 block of N. Market St.
They then attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the vehicle refused and sped away. A pursuit was then initiated. A gun was hurriedly thrown out of the vehicle, which was picked up and filed as evidence.
