Lake of the Woods golf course opens for Walking Only

MAHOMET, IL (Chambana Today) – The Lake of the Woods golf course is opening on Friday, February 28 for Walking Only.

No tee times will be taken. All play will be first come, first serve. The Lake of the Woods golf course opened in 1951 and has been rated one of the favorite courses in Champaign County. They offer a 18-hole regulation course, 9-hole Par 3 course, driving range, and a fully stocked pro shop. This par-72 golf course has four sets of playing tees from 5,000 to 6,500 yards.
