CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Champaign County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is hosting an Open House in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
The event will be hosted on Friday, April 25 at 201 W. Kenyon, Champaign, IL 61820 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Open House offers a look into how the CAC helps children and families affected by abuse.
Attendees will be able to:
- Tour the CAC facility and see how they provide a child-friendly space for victims.
- Speak with forensic interviewers, family advocates, and law enforcement partners.
- Learn about the CAC multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigations.
- Discover available resources for child abuse prevention and support.
