The City of Champaign is offering free two-hour parking downtown

There is no requirement to provide any proof of purchase at the parking deck to receive the two-hour discount. Parking at the parking deck is also free on City holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The parking deck is located at the corner of Hill and Randolph Streets and has more than 300 visitor parking spaces.

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – This holiday season, the City of Champaign is offering up to two free hours of parking at the Hill Street Parking Deck.

To encourage residents and visitors to visit Downtown Champaign and boost the local economy, the free two hours parking will start from now through December 31, 2024. Individuals parked for more than two hours will receive a two-hour discount off of their existing parking fee. This is all done in support of Champaign’s local businesses in restaurants. The City would like to remind individuals to check ahead to see if where you are heading has altered schedules and capacity limits.
