CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Rotary Club of Champaign relaunched its Vocational Service Awards and announced the 2025 award honorees.

The recipients are honored for their professional contributions and dedication to the community. These recipients are Linden ‘Lin’ Warfel, Brian Barnhart, and Alyssa Anderson. Linden ‘Lin’ Warfel will receive the Rotarian of the Rotary Club of Champaign award his contributions to agriculture and education. He co-founded the Champaign County Farm Bureau Foundation. Brian Barnart will be honored in the Champaign Business Community category for his impactful career in radio broadcasting and community-focused storytelling.

Alyssa Anderson will receive the Champaign Business Community Under 40 award for her advocacy and leadership in special needs education as the Director of Larkin’s Place at the Stephens Family YMCA. The awards will be presented during the Rotary Club of Champaign’s annual Comedy Night fundraiser on January 16, 2025, at Jupiter’s at the Crossing with performances by the Chicago Community All-Stars.
