CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Parkland College will be inducting the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025 on Saturday, January 25.
The induction will be taking place in the Donald C. Dodds Jr. Athletic Center during halftime of the 3:00 p.m. Cobras Men’s Basketball game. The Parkland Hall of Fame dates back to the inaugural class of 2007 and has over 100 inductees ranging from players, teams, coaches, and administrators. This is currently the 17th Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Class of 2025 is as follows:
- Steve Arnold, public address announcer (2007-2018)
- Jay Bruer, baseball (1997-1999)
- Lyle Burns, golf (2012-2014)
- Ken Crawford, baseball (1991-1992)
- Shelby Geers, volleyball (2011-2013)
- Nick Wittgren, baseball (2011)
- Rod Lovett, baseball, athletic director (1989-2018)
