Nestled in the heart of Urbana, the Urbana Co-op has become an invaluable resource for locals seeking not only organic groceries but also a rich variety of educational opportunities.
The initial grant awards up to $25,00 to an organization to develop a plan to promote and advance the CHW workforce in the state. Upon development, the grantee will be eligible for non-competitive annual “continuation grants” to implement the plan for up to three years with a maximum award of approximately $2 million.
Applications for Program Year 2026 opened on Monday, February 3, 2025 and the deadline is on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Applications can be submitted here and more information can be found at urbanail.gov.
The fair covers topis from Industrial Technology to family consumer science, business to skilled trades. Students will discover their passions and develop successful postsecondary plans. The public and the media are invited to attend. The fair is located at Champaign Central High School at Combs Gym.
