The workshop will cover the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new herbicide strategy and will take place on January 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Crop Science Research Education Center in Champaign. The workshop provides attendees with the latest EPA herbicide regulations and practical strategies for compliance.
Public and private non-profit organizations are able to apply. The Housing and Homeless Innovations Round II is funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the American Rescue Plan Act, and the City of Urbana general funds.

The State of Illinois recently announced the minimum wage increase from the initial $14 per hour to $15. The minimum wage for tipped workers will increase to $9 per hour and workers under 18 working fewer than 650 hours per year will be increased to $13 per hour.
